Do I Need A Referral?
Only if you are a Veterans Affairs client, otherwise, you do not require a referral to see a Physiotherapist.
We are open from 8.30 am to 7.00pm, Monday to Thursday and to 3 pm on Friday.
Do you manipulate?
While physiotherapists are trained to manipulate or ‘crack’ joints, it is a treatment option that we do not regularly need to employ and is utilised only if deemed completely necessary (there are often numerous other treatments that will achieve the same results). Manipulation techniques will not be performed without your prior consent.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments required for an injury will vary greatly from patient to patient. Some people require only one treatment while others need a more intensive and supervised program over a period of months. There are multiple factors that can influence your recovery. At Angus Physiotherapy we plan to educate you to manage your injury, in addition to treating the problem, as understanding what is wrong, can often help prevent it happening again.
